Mauricio Pochettino's press conference was dominated by injuries. One player who has come to the fore is Lesley Ugochukwu, who had been completely off the radar since Christmas Eve when he picked up a hamstring injury.

At the time there was talk of a six-week injury, but it's been almost four months and he's nowhere to be seen. Pochettino's update gave us some indication that the summer signing is on the way back, but as usual it was pretty vague and not very positive either:

'Now I'm focusing on his recovery. In a few weeks' time, we will see if he is ready to return to training with the first team. We are assessing his condition day by day (Coach).

We are not surprised that Pochettino was asked about the Frenchman at this point. The 20-year-old looked to be back in action for the Christmas Eve game of the Cheap Chelsea Soccer Jerseys against the Wolves after a month's absence, but it only lasted an hour.

The fact that Ugo Chukwu from the Cheap Chelsea T-shirts for kids may return in a few weeks' time is particularly painful, as he could have been useful in recent weeks. Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo and Connor Gallagher were all taken advantage of due to a lack of midfield options (at least ones that Pochettino was willing to try). If Ugochukwu was fit, he could make the starting lineup for that game. In fact, if he was fit, we wouldn't have had to use Enzo as much, and the Argentine would probably be available.

Even with the most optimistic timetable for his return, by the time he is back, the season will be all but over.
